Rina has been in a home but isn't getting on with one of dogs she lives with. The dog in the photo that she is with is the Cane Corso puppy that she loved playing with and curling up next to. Here is a write up by her previous owners as she is now back at the kennels.
"I have written this for Ronnie I hope it's ok, I just wanted people to know how wonderful and affectionate she is. It has been extremely hard to write as she is the most beautiful affectionate girl ever.
Apologies for the delay in doing this write up on Ronnie (was Rina) it is with a very heavy heart that we are having to write this. Ronnie is not for the faint hearted and you really must understand the Rottweiler to take on Ronnie, if you are prepared for a shadow and constant snuggle monster then Ronnie is for you. You must be prepared to give constant belly rubs, unfortunately Ronnie believes she is a tiny lap dog and will come and sit on your knee and expect cuddles. She loves to have a snuggle on the bed with you at night and will cuddle up with you head on the pillow and sleep alongside you, although this may be a deal breaker she does snore!
She is a constant shadow and will follow you around, including making sure you are safe in the bathroom, she doesn’t like you to shower alone. She is the most beautiful affectionate dog and is amazing with every human she meets. Ronnie loves a cuddle and our children will pick her up and give her a cuddle. She really is the perfect dog but unfortunately for us we have a bit of an idiot dog (another rescue from Halfway Home he’s a guardian breed but he is a bit of an idiot and likes to show his teeth because although he’s only 3 he is a grumpy old man). Unfortunately Ronnie hasn’t learnt that his bark is definitely worse than his bite and we have had to take the responsible decision to rehome her as she is a Rottweiler and if anything was to happen they would just say she’s a Rottweiler and have her put to sleep and we could just not bare that and it is the furthest from the truth as she is the most gentle dog ever. On the other hand our other dog who is the same age as Ronnie they were the best of friends and inseparable and would cuddle up with each other and play nicely. It just appears that if any dog shows the slightest of aggression then Ronnie will react so she may be best as an only dog or with a dog that shows no aggression at all.
With humans she is an absolute dream and we are absolutely heartbroken that we are having to rehome her. So, if you’re looking for a shadow, a complete snuggle buddy, a dog that will follow you to the end of the earth, who does need a constant amount of belly rubs and cuddles then Ronnie is the dog for you. Any questions then please post on here and I can answer them for you. We just want to make sure that she goes to a wonderful forever home. We thought we were her forever home but maybe we were just the ones to get her healthy (she was very underweight when we got her) ready for her forever home.
